Vision-Mission

  • Support development, maintenance and upgradation of computational mechanics packages.
  • Bring the voluminous research work in computational mechanics and analysis of nuclear structures under one roof.
  • Periodic workshops, conferences for dissemination of knowledge.
  • Create scientifically integrated software packages for future needs.
  • To set up and use high performance computing facility for advanced simulation and visualization.
  • Mainly, to serve as a facilitator and consolidator for interdisciplinary projects at IITB and DAE.
  • All future projects to be routed through proposed CCES to BRNS.

The access to the Centre will be open to the scientists of Atomic Energy and their designates.

The high performance computing facilities, portable hardware and all software packages to be housed and maintained at a centralized place within the premises identified for the Centre.
